Police are asking for help after a property in Middlesbrough was damaged by suspects who traveled in a taxi on New Year’s Day, causing significant harm.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on New Year’s Day, after a property was damaged in Middlesbrough. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 1st January 2025, when suspects attended an address by travelling in a taxi to Park Road South between 2:15 am and 2:25 am.

Suspects and Details of the Incident

The suspects caused damage to the property using hammers before returning to the taxi and fleeing the scene in the direction of Marton Road. The suspects are described as white males. One was wearing a jacket with a fur hood, while the other wore a thin, black jacket.

Police Appeal for Information

Cleveland Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV footage in the area around the time of the incident or any additional information to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to speak with the driver of the taxi involved in the incident.
