GrabCab’s Entry Into Singapore’s Taxi Market Sparks Competition

Grab has officially entered Singapore’s regulated taxi sector with its new service, GrabCab, after securing a 10-year street-hail licence. This move makes Grab the sixth official taxi operator in the country and places it in direct competition with established players like ComfortDelGro. GrabCab will launch with a fleet of low- and zero-emission taxis, targeting 800 vehicles within three years.
