Two Teenagers Arrested Following Failed Carjacking in Smethwick

Two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were arrested after attempting to carjack a taxi in Smethwick on January 16, 2025. The suspects stole the car keys from the driver around 8 PM on West Park Road. They attempted to start the vehicle but failed, fleeing the scene with the keys.

Police Response and Arrests

The police quickly responded to the scene, arresting the suspects on suspicion of robbery. They have since been released on bail as further investigations continue.
