Uber has entered a long-term partnership with London Gatwick Airport, launching a creative out-of-home advertising campaign to promote its services. The collaboration will focus on easing passenger travel to and from the airport, positioning Uber as a convenient solution for seamless airport journeys.

The "You’re Almost There" Campaign

Developed by Mother, Uber’s UK agency, the “You’re Almost There” campaign is designed to highlight Uber's ability to help passengers reach their destination effortlessly. Over 2,500 branded assets will be displayed throughout Gatwick, the UK’s second-busiest airport, with visuals set to remain until 2027.

Practical Improvements and Better Passenger Experience

The campaign also includes practical improvements, such as clearer signage to guide passengers from baggage claim to Uber pick-up points, ensuring a smoother experience. Maya Gallego Spiers, Uber UK’s head of marketing, commented:

"At airports, travellers want to reach their final destination as effortlessly as possible. Our campaign shows them just how close they are, reminding everyone that with Uber, You’re almost there."

Connecting with Passengers

Martin Rose, Executive Creative Director at Mother, mentioned:

"We aimed to connect Uber with London Gatwick’s broad passenger base, and across the airport, in literally thousands of places, there are messages designed to generate a smile."

By focusing on visibility and easy travel, Uber hopes to enhance the journey for passengers at Gatwick Airport.
